New York is projected to become the nation's second largest legal cannabis market after California with an estimated $4.2 billion market within 5 years. BUT as of now there are still a LOT of of very 'gray' legal areas being worked on.
You can legally possess up to 3oz. of cannabis in NY and you can legally consume it and legally gift it, but you cannot legally sell it for adult use ...yet.
