I am a classically trained professional ballet dancer and ballet teacher, passionate about perpetuating the art form and educating dancers in a holistic, healthy and fulfilling manner. I am a native of Northern Michigan where I now teach and direct the ballet program at Dance Arts Academy. I graduated from Canada's National Ballet School and danced with The National Ballet of Canada for 8 years, BalletMet for one year, and have been a freelance performer based in NYC and now in Traverse City, MI. The stage is my source of freedom and understanding, while teaching is a deeply rewarding passion I plan to explore for life.
