I suggest GoDaddy.com for your domain purchases.  Here’s a link to get a big discount on all of your domains from them.  Just be sure you don’t log in until prompted or you wont get the discount.  Also – you won’t be able to see the discounted price until checkout.  Go Daddy is the king of upsells, so ignore all the upsells and just get the domain. You don’t need any of that other stuff.  Each domain you buy from them they give you a free email address to match the domain name, so don’t buy one.

Hosting – I use Host Gator.  These guys have the best customer service and don’t treat you like an idiot when you need help. Never had a bad experience with them and I’ve asked some pretty dumb questions over the years.  Buy the Baby Gator package. It gives you unlimited websites and lots of storage. Everything you’re ever gonna need. It’s under $10 a month and less than that if you do a longer commitment.  Most hosting services don’t let you pay monthly.

BlueHost.com – I have never used them, so can’t recommend them, but I know others who are satisfied.  I also know a couple of people who have switched from Blue Host to Host Gator.
