Jamie is homeless and has a dog, which means that she can’t get into most shelters (because they don’t allow pets). She had been working, but when things came up missing, because she was the newest employee, the boss blamed her and she lost her job. For 17 years, she had a family, wherein she lived with her kids’ dad, then everything got ripped away from her. She does confess that until it hit her, she had a bad attitude toward the homeless.

Mary is 75 years old. Until he passed away, she had a husband for 49 years. Then she became the victim of an identity theft scam, the culprit of which stole all her money. Then she had to move in with her daughter. Her daughter’s husband passed away, and she had to sell her house, which left Mary without a home. She is now looking for ways of serving others who are in need.

Pastor Chris Aaron Rice talks with Gwen, one of the tornado victims. She is in a U-Haul truck as Chris talks to her. She lost everything in the tornado. People who come by to help and constantly checking on her. She has one son. She IS GOING TO rebuild. She is leaning on the Lord.

Jennifer suffers from Neurofibromatosis type 1 and type 2. It causes bumps to pop up on your body and they become cancerous. She has had this condition since she was 10 years old. They are very painful; even excruciating. She also suffers seizures. They can cause strokes. God shines bright in her life. She has lost lots of people she loves, and it is enough to be moody. She doesn't want to be bitter. By the time this airs she will be in her own place. She had been sleeping under a bridge on a pile of rocks.

Korrie was illegally evicted and is now homeless because of it. The people that got her evicted tried to find her family and kill them and Korrie (they are alive). She is asking EVERYONE to pray. Korrie gets quite emotional midway through. She asks people to contact the Missouri Attorney General.

Shemika is a homeless client at the Veterans Coming Home Center in Springfield. One of the ways that she gives back is by helping in the kitchen. She has a degree in culinary arts and has been sober for two months.

Cora became homeless because of back taxes, in November 2023.

Donna became homeless when her mom kicked her out of her house, then she fell and injured herself and got robbed of everything.

Joann was homeless for more than 5 years. She had been in prison for 4 months, and when she got out, her family members had died.
