Driverless vehicles are supposed to lower the risk of being on the roads. But, a truly smart highway system requires technology with special sensors built into roads and algorithms that paint a picture of how traffic moves. On this edition of UWM Today , meet two members of the UW-Milwaukee College of Engineering who are on a mission to outsmart traffic.
