When Jesus forgave the paralytic in the gospel, the scribes and Pharisees accused him of blasphemy. Much like how priests are accused when they hear confessions. Do you know that the Son of Man has the power to forgive sins? That he gave that authority to those ministers whom he breathed on to remit or retain sins as a function of binding and loosing?
