I noticed where the world bank has reported that nearly half of the world’s population lives on less than $5.50 per day. I thank God I’m not one of them. I also thank Him for blessing me with the opportunity to live in this country. Most people don’t understand how it feels to be hungry, lack safe shelter, wear tattered clothing, be devoid of clean drinking water, indoor plumbing or electricity. I was homeless for a while and have traveled to several countries including India and have seen abject poverty and perhaps understand it more than most, and it is difficult to see, much less experience, the living conditions endured by so many. The dividing line for extreme poverty amounts to living on less than $1.90 per DAY. 12% of the world’s population is ensnared in it . . . https://www.wordsfortheday.com/index.php/2018/10/mega-millions/
