Sometimes you just don't wanna be the hero anymore. I'm sure it's exhausting. You just don't expect your villain nemesis to get bored and try to create a clone of yourself to fight against. You think Joker would make another Batman? On second thought, there's a million batman comics, that's probably happened already.
