Scaling down your name and brand can be challenging, especially when you need to fit within a specific price point. This is a challenge that Ginger Walker from Ginger Ray Walker Art faced. Being mostly a commision based artist she needed to find a way to develop a product that would help people discover and share her other work. She previously struggled working with distributors on other items and so an item developed in house would be best. Creating a lino print that shares the likeness of her art work and stamping the print onto products such as bags, shirts, and notebooks would develop interest in her art and brand. Ultimately the print serves the purpose of creating word of mouth as well as functioning as its own form of an original artwork.
