Meghan is the founder of Guardian Adventures (www.guardup.com), which provides consultation and development of innovative and educational online and live action game-based events specializing in education, cultures and lived experience, intercultural training programs, STEM programs, and transformative experiences.
As a trainer at http://CAFFEstrategies.com , Meghan specializes in bringing groups or individuals together and building trust with her partner and TED Speaker, Genein Letford. Together, they run workshops using games and stories to teach the neuroscience of the Internal Model, which is the foundation of bias in all people. By removing blame and shame and exploring your internal model through hands-on exercises and group discussions, this topic becomes more approachable and embraceable while also unlocking our innate cooperative creativity.
Meghan is the founder of http://CulturaConnector.com , a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to Cultural Media Recruiting which helps members of cultures advise companies on the proper representation of their culture in games, stories, media, and education. This free global directory removes the barriers around locating cultural advisors available to assist organizations in the depiction of cultures and ethnicities in media and other outlets in a way that is both appropriate and accurate. The company also specializes in building bridges between cultures in conflict.
Working side by side with advisors from around the world, her company and team of global specialists create custom story and game based projects that are sensitive, appropriate, and educational.
Meghan has also been a cultural game design project manager for University of Georgia, STEM Curriculum Designer for The Princeton Review, a story-based adventure designer and staff trainer for Royal Caribbean Cruises (providing educational adventures for their 6 million clients a year).
As an annual guest lecturer and expert panelist at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an international presenter and speaker on the topics of Immersive and Transformative Experiences in Education, Meghan has presented to over 10 thousand people over the years.
In her free time, Meghan mentors women and BiPoC entrepreneurs in the USA and Uganda and volunteers for hospice where she works with terminally ill patients of all ages as well as their families.
