In our latest episode we interview Writer-Producer turned Director Mel Jones. Mel earned her MFA in Producing at the American Film Institute & made her directorial debute with “Leimert Park.“ which plays on BET. This multi-hyphenate filmmaker produced Netflix original films Juanita & recently served as director for Hulu’s recently launched Initiative 29 in collaboration with Disney+ & ASPEN+’s “Black History Always”. Mel was also a producer on the MACRO Film, ‘Really Love’ which is now streaming on Netflix.
