A healthy baby thrust into a fight for life due to an undetected outbreak of staph infection in the hospital nursery. This is how Melanie’s life began. The nurses worked heroically, but 21 lives were lost. Melanie physically survived but deep trauma wounds were left behind. These wounds were like that staph infection – undetected. These wounds damaged her childhood, her health, her marriage and many other things until she found the way to healing. Now she empowers others to overcome and live life more fully.
Bio: In addition to being an Amazon Best-Selling Author (under a different name), Melanie Goodwin is a multi-award winning Songwriter, Musician, and Composer, the creator of Sonic Immersions, a sound- and Word-based tool for renewing the mind, and the Audio Chronicles. Having taught and spoken nationally and internationally, she has coaching Certifications from both Tony Robbins (Robbins-Madanes) and John C. Maxwell. Melanie is cultivating an artist's collective of Imagination-based artists who’ve moved from listless or stuck to "listening" and strategically engaged. Melanie believes art can bring light to our meaning-starved age. Melanie loves painting, gardens, and lingering dinner parties with friends.
