Mike & Patrick from Nashville band kettleflower break down the process of making "Melt- Lock- Count- down" from the EP At Sundown in the Blackout (released March 3, 2021).  The EP is a series of perspectives from "the blackout".  The song explores one of these perspectives, and Mike & Patrick talk about the strange collection of disasters and unrest in Nashville that contributed to the angst and uncertainty infused in the track.
