Membranous Nephropathy is a kidney condition in which the tiny filtering units of the kidneys, called glomeruli, become damaged due to thickening of their membranes, leading to protein leakage into the Urine. This condition may occur on its own or be associated with autoimmune diseases, infections, certain medications, or underlying cancers. Swelling around the eyes or in the legs, tiredness, and foamy Urine are common signs. Early evaluation with blood tests, urine tests, and a kidney biopsy helps prevent progression and protect kidney function.
