  • K1 Is there such thing as an acceptable lie? If so, what would that look like?

Grow

  • G1 In what ways can lies be comforting / safe?
  • G2 In what ways can truth be scary / intimidating?
  • G3 Why does God value truth so much?
  • G4 If you were to explain to a child why truth-telling is so important, what would you say?
  • G5 Meditate on John 1:14. Why is it so important that Jesus came from the Father, full of grace and truth?
  • G6 Read John 8:32 – why is it so vital that truth is not just a concept, but it is a person? Consider what you know of Jesus from scripture – how does this help you understand truth?
