Jesus promised he would send the Holy Spirit after he left. The time for the crucifixion was soon, and Jesus continued to teach his friends about what was to come. He knew he would return after death to teach some more but then he would ascend to heaven and the Holy Spirit would be sent to do some incredible things among his people.
