Music is such a powerful force with the power to lift us higher, evoke fond memories, enhance the keenness of emotion. Hardly anyone can imagine life without music..  A few years ago, I decided to create blog which would feature weekly updates in each of five categories, namely Killer Rock, The 80's, Easy Listening, Proudly South African and International.  

This has been a labour of love, and very rewarding for it. The new musical discoveries, the connection with friends old and new, the great memories have made it all worthwhile. If , by following this series, you have rekindled fond memories through a forgotten favourite or maybe discovered a new favourite that you previously knew nothing about, we will have achieved our objective.
