From ICT - Mt. Trashmore Pow WowMemorial Day is a time to honor those who have lived before us and have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Military. Memorial Day is also an unofficial start to the Summer Season and the celebrations that lay ahead. --- In a respectful gesture to our Native American veterans - I have decided to leave open a seat for a very special guest - Our fallen ancestors. This show - they take the seat of honor. --- In a gesture of respect we will talk about these great people and the contributions they have given - As a further gesture - I will dedicate this episode of Native Trailblazers in "rememberance." To do this _ will remeber our guests from past shows and play a song or two. ---- I also encourage you to call in and dedicate a few moments of time honoring any veterans from your family or friends.
