Join us for an insightful audio narration of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's reflection on the 40 themes from the Lausanne State of the Great Commission Report. In this episode, we will explore the major challenges and opportunities facing the diverse Christian communities in the region, the birthplace of Christianity.

In this episode, we will cover several key trends that are shaping the Great Commission in the MENA region:

  • The rise of radical Islam and atheism: The report notes a dual trend where both radical Islam and atheism are on the rise. This creates a complex environment for Christian communities, who face persecution, discrimination, and violence, leading to a significant exodus of Christians from their ancient homelands.
  • Youth empowerment and potential for unrest: With high rates of youth unemployment and social dissatisfaction, there is a potential for political and social unrest. We will explore how these dynamics impact the church and present new opportunities for ministry to a generation seeking purpose and hope.
