Menace & The Monk

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

Luis Suarez, the man, the enigma, was back at Anfield last week for the second time and he has left both times disappointed and empty-handed. It was also a night where the Anfield faithful booed their old hero. Was it right? Is it a big deal? Have we treated him too harshly? To talk about that incident, and his time as our number 7, the incidents surrounding him, the times beyond, and much more, we got Shivangi and Ram. Watch as we discuss the mad genius of the man, the influence he has had on Liverpool, and what kind of legacy will he leave behind - both for Liverpool Football Club and as a footballing personality. We had a lot of laughs recording this and thoroughly enjoyed it, and we hope you have fun watching it as well. Have a look and let us know in the comments section what your take is on the man, and whether you think the booing incident was right, wrong, or just plain blown out of proportion.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

It has finally happened. We have lost a game this season. In a tricky fixture against David Moyes' men, the reds have come up short and we have come back from the capital with nothing to show. What did we make of the starting lineup, the goals we conceded, the goals we scored, and of course, the overall performance against West Ham. Have a look!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

With qualification for the Round of 16 in the UCL sealed, we now look forward to another international break and also, the big question looms large - how are we going to deal with the absence of Salah, Mane & Keita during January when they are away for AFCON. These same players are also part of the group whose contract runs out in 2023. How do we deal with it, what should be the approach? To discuss all this and more, we have a special guest, Jonathan Higgins, a prominent sports broadcaster and journalist, who has worked with the likes of Redmen TV, This is Anfield and more, who is also a massive Liverpool fan like us. Watch as we discuss the season so far, how do we approach the contracts for the front three, Keita, Chamberlain, etc., do we give Salah the money? What knock-on effect will it have on the rest of the squad, and of course, how do we deal with the situation in January during AFCON when Salah, Mane & Keita depart for national duty. We absolutely loved recording this and we hope you have fun watching or listening as well.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk!

We have done the job in UCL and finished top of the table. A professional performance from the reds with goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane, and impressive performances from Trent, Oxlade Chamberlain, and Kostas Tsimikas. What did we make of our win against the Spanish Champions, what does it mean for the season ahead, now that we can actually afford to rest some players in the remaining couple of games. Watch our review of the win against Atletico Madrid, which seals the top spot in the group and qualification to the Round of 16.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

A frustrating return to Anfield as we drop two massive points and blow a two-goal lead. We are still unbeaten but the performance in the second half especially from our midfield and defense was quite poor. The team has a lot of areas to improve upon and the game against Atletico will be super important for us to bounce back. Reviewing this game for us is Utkarsh. Watch him describe the lineup, the key moments, what went right, and of course what went wrong. Do have a look.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

An evening beyond our wildest of dreams. We have gone to Old Trafford and buried Manchester United under an avalanche of goals. A brilliant hattrick again by Mo Salah - the miracle man and an overall dominant, thrilling display. Reviewing this game is Rithwik Rajendran, the man with a keen eye of detail. Watch as he discusses the line ups, the goals, the performances, the injuries, and of course, what this thunderous victory means for our long term prospects in the season.

Hello Everyone,

Its time for the big one!

The biggest game in England, and some would say even the world - its time for Liverpool vs Manchester United. Old enemies, the forever derby. And to talk about it, we have Nishtha and the boys from Man United Supporters Club - Delhi NCR, Tilak & Karn over. Sit back and enjoy one of the conversations we had an absolute blast recording. Hope you guys love it as well!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

We have gone to Madrid and done it! Not a perfect performance but we have the points and that makes us really strong to proceed to the group stages. What did we make of the starting lineup as Fabinho was benched, Matip and Naby started consecutive games, and more. Of course, more than enough drama with 4 goals scored in the first half, a red card, penalty shouts, and Simeone storming off. Watch our review of the victory against Atletico Madrid.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

We are back from the international break with an absolute ripper of a performance against a Watford team, which could have been a potential banana skin for us. A hattrick for Bobby (and that has put a huge smile on every Liverpool fan's face we are sure), a goal to add to Sadio's confidence, and a piece of magic from Mo, again. It was a fantastic performance as the Reds now travel to Spain for the Champions League fixture, and a crucial period starts for us. Reviewing this game for us is Tanay, our brother, and an equally passionate Liverpool fan. What did he make of the starting lineup, the goals and the overall performance, and what it means for an important period coming up? Do have a look!

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Menace & The Monk.

We pick up the burning question in this one! Mohamed Salah - Is he the best player in the world? What does his contract situation at Liverpool FC entail and what is our take on that. Joining us for this one are Aakriti and Abijit, both lifetime reds and people who certainly know their football. Watch as we discuss why Mo Salah might be the best player on the planet right now, what are the observations and expectations for the season, and his contract situation - whats our take on that and what we think would be the best for the club and of course, the fans. Do hang around till the end of the video as we choose between Liverpool and India cricket team. Do let us know in the comments section what you think about the Salah situation. Do you agree he is the best player in the world? What is the best outcome regarding his contract situation?
