“梦会开出花的”

“The dream will blossom” 

小乔治指着朋友送给我的凤尾兰

Little George pointed at the anchovies that others gave me 

“爸爸，我昨天梦见你的凤尾兰开花啦”

"I dreamed that she smiled sweetly last night" 

“可是它今天早晨并没有开”小乔治垂头丧气地说

"But it’s just a dream.” he said with head down 

“会开花的”

"It would bloom" 

“小乔治的梦也会开花的”

"Dreams will not be shattered" 

“乔治，你浇过水了吗”

"Honey, did you give it some water "

 “外面有点热，要不把他送给邻居吧”

"Too hot outside, I wonder if the neighbors like it"

 “那怎么可以呢”

"Oh, that doesn’t work” 

“好吧，我去看看”，小乔治懒洋洋的说

"Okay, I only glance at it" said he lazily

“你要用水灌溉，它才会开的”

"She won't blossom unless you put your heart into it" 

你的梦一定会开出花的

Hold on to your dream

外面就要下雨了

The sky is going to cry 

“把它搬进来吧，风雨会把它扯坏的”

"Give her a hand. She will catch a cold." 

He said anxiously

小乔治焦急地说 

“不用”，我笑了笑”

"Ha, it’s so lovely of you" 

我关上了门窗

I shut the doors and windows 

小乔治低着头 进了卧室

He left with his head drooping 

“晚安，你的梦会开花的”

"Lucky dog, have a good dream" 

看，你的梦，开出花了

Your dream is stepping towards you 

一大清早

The birds had just woken up 

“爸爸，快出来”

"Dad, come on" 

小乔治指着那朵花

He pointed to the flower 

欣喜若狂地说道：“看，开花了”

"She is smiling at me,” he said feverishly 

我看着黑眼圈的小乔治

I looked at George with his dark circles 

“你的梦开出花朵来了”

"The flowers are blooming" 

你的梦会开花的

Your dream came true
