It's been fifty years since Reg Mombassa, his brother Peter, Martin Plaza , Wayne de Lisle and "Greedy" Smith started the legendary Mental As Anything, a band that found tremendous success through the punk and new wave explosion in the late 70's and 80's.
For the first time in over two and a half decades, the band has got back together to perform sold out shows around the country. and Saturday June 13 - it's Perth's turn!
Ahead of their show at the iconic Astor Theatre, Reg Mombassa joined Macka on The Drive Home to discuss performing as the Mental's again, his passion for art, and the fact he believes he's smoken probably 25,000 joints throughout his life.
