In this episode, we really felt the nudge to push pause on our usual format and have a candid chat about mental health, and where we are with our own journeys. We feel so passionately about normalizing actually talking out loud about mental health (much like we do about physical health)! Normalizing checking in with our friends and asking... "how are you, really?"
In this episode you'll hear Sammy's struggles with moving to a completely new state, culture, and climate...across the country, away from her family. And you'll hear Jen discuss her mental health journey that led to her being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 38; what's she done up until now to manage it, and where she's going next. I know this is a different format than usual, and a vulnerable one for us at that... but I hope you'll be open to the conversation, and that you are able to gain some nuggets from it, or for someone you know who may need to hear it.
