I haven't really thought much about the potential mental realisation Jesus must've had. I mean he knew from birth to death, what God was asking of him, and how his life will end. No doubt that Jesus had the emotional, mental and spiritually maturity, to accept responsibility in his father had given him to do.
It's especially mind blowing in the fact that while Jesus was dying on the cross roman guards were gambling for his clothes, some at the crucifixion were also telling Jesus 'If you are who you say you are than surely, he can save yourself, or at the very least send an army of angels' to fight for you' (I'm paraphrasing).
So let's talk about this.
Much love, Shaun
