Yesterday, Coquitlam mayor Richard Stewart joined us for Mayors Day where he shared a very personal story. His daughter suffered a mental health crisis in 2012 and was admitted to hospital. But during the family’s journey through the health system - they discovered there are severe gaps in mental health treatment.
