Reid is married with two children now 16 and 18 years old, Reid has been working in the Community Mental Health sector for some 20 years; and for the last 12 years as Coordinator now Manager of the Geelong Mood Support Group.

Having a Masters in Psychoanalytical Studies from Deakin University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Mental Health (Uni of Qld); Reid's interests focus on our emotional well-being which is moulded within a traditional humanistic and yet post-modern framework.

His vision is to ensure each individual is heard and valued in the community they wish to belong to.
