NYC school officials have said a lot about the importance of supporting students’ mental health throughout the pandemic, but do their actions match their words? What resources are or are not being provided to students? In this story, we put the adults’ words to the test.

Our investigation takes us from the depths of Google to the counselor’s office to the NYC Department of Education central office — and a lot of places in between. What did we learn? You’ll have to listen to find out.
