Apostle Carmena Cox shares her personal journey on her struggles with mental health and suicide. Mental health and suicide in the Black community have risen dramatically. The stigma of mental health problems in the community has prevented many from seeking help. Also, the lack of education on recognizing mental health and signs exhibited by a potential suicide victim prevents others from seeking help for loved ones. According to statistics, there's a dramatic increase in mental health issues and suicide in the Black community. Recently high-profile suicides brought attention to these issues.
