Setting goals in sports is not just for athletes who want to go pro, or even make it to college. Setting goals is something we should encourage every child in sports to do. And here’s why:

The real value of setting goals is not the recognition or reward, it’s the person we become by finding the courage, discipline and commitment to achieve them.

Even small kids can learn how to set goals. And today’s podcast guest will give you some ideas for helping your child–at any age–learn the value and strategy for setting goals.
