This week my guest is the brilliant Roger Edwards, an entertainer whose part of a long-standing cooking family. And will have you in hysterics! His food family stories are superb. You'll love it!
He's from a long-standing cooking family, and tells us the crazy food adventures he and his cousin got up to in the café they ran at a market (family owned since 1948) in the Black Country, West Midlands.
The family memories from Rog are warm, funny and touching. They're fantastic family tales of food joy.
In my part of the show, I talk about the Caribbean beverages my Grandad used to make. All hail punch and carrot juice. They were sooo delicious! I can taste them now.
I also ask if you’re as susceptible as me when it comes to food advertising on telly. If it’s advertised in a certain way, I just feel like I want to get onto the Deliveroo app, place my order, and eat it!
