This evening MercadoLibre (#MELI) reported Q4 earnings and missed on EPS but beat on revenue. The company announced EPS of -$1.02 and revenue of $1.33B (93.7% Y/Y).
In terms of stock price to earnings, #MercadoLibre is probably not what a value investor is looking for. But what their earnings lack their growth makes up for. The company is considered to be the Amazon south of the U.S. border and for good reason. They've grown their eCommerce marketplace tremendously while also creating their own payment platform, Mercado Pago, which is used in stores all across Latin America. Is this the best growth stock for investors to buy?
