Summary:

In the news of late, there has been a lot of discussion about free trade agreements. The Trump administration feels that when one country has high import tariffs to dampen the export of U.S. goods and services from this country to another country while the other country enjoys low tariffs on their exports to the United States, then the administration feels this is unfair. But, that brings up the question: is mercantilism good? Is free trade better? I think so, … but specifically why? TPA explains!
