The CPSC and Meridian are recalling Meridian Ottomans.  The gold or silver metal band around the base has sharp edges that create a laceration hazard.  About 7,800 of these ottomans have been sold nationwide online at Wayfair, Amazon, and Hayneedle, and at 200 stores of their nationwide.  If you own one of these ottomans, immediately stop using and contact Meridian Furniture at 1-800-808-0015 or via email at [email protected] to request a prepaid mailing package and shipping label to return the product.  In the alternative,  provide Meridian with photographic evidence that you have disposed of or destroyed of the product in order to receive a full refund.
