Dungey's career began with small roles in Hollywood films such as Deep Impact, but she quickly made a breakthrough when she was cast in a regular role on the sitcom King of Queens, and a main cast role as Francie Calfo / Alison Doren on Alias. Her most recent role is as the main character C.J. Bernstein in The Fix.
