Merry Mitaarfik

Listen Later

It's just turned 2024, and there are many ways to celebrate the New Year. For example, in Greenland you might dress up as a mitaartoq for Mitaarfik and scare your neighbours for treats. You could also dance. That works too. Whichever you choose, we hope you enjoy our little exploration of a somewhat creepy but definitely cosy Inuit tradition. Just keep an eye out for the tiny tiny scary people.
