Denise begins by sharing her story and the significance of her bookstore within the community. She then discusses her article in the Edible magazine, focusing on Mesquite Street and providing a historical overview of the families that shaped the neighborhood. Finally, Denise and the ladies explore some historical records discovered in our vault, which connect to the rich history of Mesquite Street.
