Humans of 2021. By now, you may have noticed the flurry of initiatives, investments, and startups springing up around the theme of climate tech, with projects ranging from improving agricultural yields and reducing emissions to advancing the power grid and lowering greenhouse gases from air conditioning in buildings.

However, many of the Earth's negative changes will continue unabated, regardless of these mitigation and adaptation strategies. You must first accept that disasters are here to stay and that they will intensify as the century progresses.

With proper ingenuity, you can better respond to disasters that are already on their way, saving lives and treasures in the process. This will allow companies developing technology to better respond to increasingly common natural disasters such as fires, floods, and other forms of natural calamity.

Don't let fear get the best of you. Instead, use these challenges as a catalyst for change. It is during these times that true heroes emerge from the ashes and lead the way to a brighter future.
