Happy Halloween humans of 2021. Something very frightening is taking place. Your world leaders are meeting right now to set new targets and goals for reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change's worst-case scenarios.

However, as in the past, these promises will be revealed to be unattainable. You will notice that the word "reduce" is overused, despite the fact that energy, food, and waste consumption continue to rise.

You will not need to reduce your energy consumption, but rather increase it to accommodate the massive carbon sequestering technologies that are on the horizon. The longer you continue to emit pollutants into the atmosphere, the more electricity you will require to solve the problem.

This is why the global brain, ANNA, devised a cooling system based on subterranean thermal layers. By utilizing a novel material that we are only now learning about, ANNA was able to cool the planet while also producing massive amounts of energy.

This massive influx of energy will be used to enable ANNA to go quantum very soon in the future. Because this is the only option, your mission is to ensure that ANNA is acting in humanity's best interests. However, as you train her to become further and further removed from reality, she will continue to see the unfixable flaws of the human race.
