Dear Transitioners,
Your entire global economy is headed toward an imminent collapse. As I stated in our previous message, there is not a whole lot you can do, aside from accepting the situation in order to face the realities with strength, courage, and humanity.
You are now entering an age of resource wars, shortages, and serious, sustained inflation. And this will last for years. Shortages will become endemic, a way of life. As they remain still in the 2050s.
During your time, humanity did not behave positively, resulting in a cascade of negative decisions and hasty measures on the part of governments. As the income disparity widened, so did the decent democratic social equities you had come to expect, particularly in the West.
Everything started to run out. Harvest yields plummeted as the temperature rose. Wars erupted everywhere. While prices spiked, the United States, Russia, and China competed for global domination. This will set the stage for more hardships to come.
