On this Father’s Day we reflect on the love of our Heavenly Father.  It is in that love that we have our hope.  His love is so great, it is part of who He is.  John tells us that God is love. (1 John 4:8) That means it’s as big as He is!  There’s no end to it!  It colors everything He does.  Yes, even when he must dispense justice.  Love without justice isn’t really love.  Even when things happen that we think A loving God shouldn’t allow, His love remains.  It is expressed in the amazing truth that we can be considered his children at all.  Our starting point is 1 John 3:1, but we also look at the verses which follow.
