Taking my queue from Pastor David who was not able to deliver the Mother’s day sermon that he planned for last week due to sudden illness, I spoke from the same passage that he was planning to use.  We must not only hear Jesus’ words, but act on them in order to build on His solid rock foundation.  One of the truths that the Bible teaches is God’s plan for the family.  Since we were not able to have services last week, I delivered a belated tribute to our mothers and the important place they hold in God’s foundation for a healthy family.
