We continue our study in John, Chapter 1, with verses 14-18. John continues his introduction and begins drawing his themes together so that we will hear them in the words of Jesus and believe. Many people make a distinction between the law of the old Testament and the grace of the New. The writers of the New Testament also do this, so far be it from me to contradict them. However, I want you to see something. Grace was always there, even in the law. It was the legalists who took it out. Just as Jesus has always existed, grace has always existed. God's nature has never changed. Listen as we discover grace upon grace.
