In a world full of tyrants and other situations outside our control, Jesus is born under a tyrant to be victorious over and overcome every factor outside of our control And as he overcomes all things, he is the prince of peace.

With great power comes great responsibility. With any measure of power comes a responsibility to steward it well.

Jesus enters the breadth of the human experience and redeems all of it. Jesus enters our family story, both messy and beautiful, and redeems all of it.

No gift, experience or accomplishment, no checking things of the list can give you the joy, peace, and fulfillment you were made for.

The World According to Jesus regularly collides with the World According to Us! When it does, we have a decision to make: which world will we live in, whom will we follow?

Persist in faithfully following Jesus, even when there are painful clashes with those we thought would be by our side. In every place and at every time, there are people who need the healing and freedom that only God’s truth and power can bring.

Jesus’s map for renewal starts with unexpected people but it’s not just individuals, he’s building an unexpected community.

Jesus meets the needs of the crowd without letting the crowd drive the agenda for his mission. You are the kind of person that Jesus calls to himself.

"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." There’s no gift of God so good that people haven’t found a way to misuse or corrupt it.
