Most of us have a sense that things aren't how they were supposed to be; this feeling like the world isn't how God meant it to be, but for the people of Israel at the time of Christ this feeling penetrated every area of life. They had been in exile for 500 years and were desperately awaiting the coming of the Messiah. This week we look at what that meant for them, and what it means for us today.
