Episode Thirty

In the previous two Episodes we dealt with a surprising Talmudic imperative suggesting that mindlessness, rather than mindfulness about Moshiach's will accelerate His arrival.

Making sense of that required a deeper understanding of our obligations to Hashem, and the different ways that Moshiach can come.

In this next Episode we return to explore this seeming Talmudic anomaly with a fresh approach that brings us a new message both comforting and inspirational!

The reason most people yearn for, or think we need Moshiach, and why he’s actually coming are very different. As the Alter Rebbe is presumably once wryly commented: "The Moshiach everyone awaits isn't coming, and that Moshiach that's coming isn't being awaited."

What did he mean, and is that truism as problematic as it sounds?
