As our five year journey through the Old Testament continues, Pastor Ben York finishes Genesis 25. In this message, we see Isaac and Rebekah struggle to have their own kids. Isaac prays to God for 20 years before his wife, Rebekah, gives birth to a set of twins, Jacob and Esau. Genesis 25:19-34 tells us that those twins fought each other in her womb and the descendants of Jacob and Esau still fight each other to this day. We also see the importance of prayer and the danger of favoritism in the family.
