What do we do with disappointment when we're following Jesus?

Today I'm getting really honest about a season of disappointment I'm currently walking through - the kind of disappointment that makes you question what God is doing and wonder how you're supposed to keep trusting Him when life doesn't look the way you hoped.

Rather than pretending disappointment doesn't hurt, we're talking about what it looks like to bring those feelings honestly before God (even if you gotta hit a little downward spiral first)

I'll also share what I've been learning recently from blogs and books about dealing with disappointment as a Christian, including practical ways to process disappointment and surrender our expectations as we continue to hope in God.
