What do you do with a life that started in chaos and kept piling on? Abuse, addiction, broken marriages, eating disorders, children with rare diseases, open heart surgery, paralysis, and a moment where Sunni Henry literally died on the operating table and came back. This is not a tidy story. But it is a redemption story, and those are the ones worth telling.

In this episode I sit down with Sunni Henry, recovery coach, prison chaplain, street evangelist, and one of the most genuinely fearless women I have ever met. She grew up bouncing between a mosque, a Jehovah’s Witness hall, and a satanic gathering before a coworker named Kimberly invited her to church in Southern California and everything changed. Since then, Sunni has spent decades showing up for people the world has written off, in prisons, under bridges, in juvenile detention centers, and in the lives of kids who just needed someone to say, I am so glad you are here.

We talk about identity, labels, the word that tells us not to remember the former things, what it looks like to love a child who has walked away, and why it is always okay to not be okay.

This one hit different. I think you are going to feel that too.
