After discovering their club was being removed from the local stadium at the heart of the working class barrio of Vallecas, Rayo fans took to the streets Sunday night to protest against their owner Martín Presa and the potential loss of their home.

On the 15th April, historic Madrid Jazz Club Cafe Central closed its doors for the last time. The day after, they moved to their new home , finding refuge in cultural centre El Ateneo de Madrid.
