Just a short hello and announcement. We are putting the English podcast on hiatus for now. Thanks for your kind support and keep following updates on FB and our website. We plan to get back sometime again, but for now it’s not possible!
Is climate change really man-made?
And if so, can we do anything about it? We briefly talk about the jet streams and their behaviour and influence on current weather. And what can YOU do about climate and what can you do to help improve the current development?
What is the whole purpose of having tunnels below the Swiss and Italian alps? What are the scientists doing down there? This episode goes deep into particles and physics, so it might get a tad heavy… But tag along and enjoy!
And, we’re back!
What is currently happening in space? The Chinese landing on the moon? Why is the moon so important in coming years? What else is happening? What happens after ISS?
We’re back! Season 2 kicks off with an exciting episode about Mars! Why is Mars on our radar? What are we doing with all that focus on Mars? Is Mars really the best place to colonise? What players are currently working on Mars projects?
Truth be told we do not know much about what lies beneath the ocean surface. We have been busy exploring land masses, continents and even space, including the moon. But just 200 metres below the surface of the oceans we pretty much enter unexplored territory. Come along and let's start exploring....
Yes, the more we explore space and the more we think about colonising other planets, the need for some kind of legislation will arise. Because we cannot just apply "Earth laws" to outer space! - or can we? What has been done so far, and what is needed for the future? Can one nation just automatically take power over a planet or area of space?
In this episode we talk about traveling in space over vast distances. What are the difficulties and considerations? How do we overcome the obstacles of traveling hundreds if not thousands of years? Does it even make any sense? And WHY do we even have this need to explore space? What might be waiting for us out there?
What is consciousness? And is there a difference between consciousness and intelligence? Can we create artificial consciousness? Because if not, then maybe, just maybe, humans will always be unique and not be replaced by machines...
The development is speeding up and we, the humans, need to make sure that things do not get out of hand! How do we do that? Do we even ant a world where machines might end up controlling us?
